Hello! Welcome to Kindergarten at Chapel Hill Christian Academy. I am excited to begin this  year with you. My husband and I have been married for 40 years and we have been blessed to raise two great children and experience life with five amazing grandchildren. I hold a BS degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an early childhood emphasis from Austin Peay State University and an MS degree in Reading and Literacy from Walden University. I taught for CMCSS for 25 years. My first five years were spent as an Educational Interpreter for deaf students. The rest of my time was spent teaching third grade and kindergarten. My mission, as an educator, is to make a positive influence in each child's life and create lifelong learners.

As a believer, I would like to share what I feel is the most important information about me. I became a Christian at the age of seven. My parents made sure that we were involved in church each week. Because of that, I learned the importance of being involved in a community of believers.  It is my desire to introduce life lessons through scripture and prayer, while at the same time providing great learning strategies that will address the best academic learning possible.

I can’t wait to begin partnering with you on this great adventure called learning.
